About the Role
We are Capital on Tap, a financial platform that offers a business credit card, spend management tools, a savings product, and a growing suite of services to support small businesses. With over 1,000 employees, £20bn in annual card spend, and 200,000 customers, we are a profitable company dedicated to providing solutions that meet the needs of small business owners.
Location: Manchester – 3 days in office, 2 days from home (fully office‑based for the first 3 months). Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage directly with customers to negotiate repayment plans
- Analyse financial situations to create tailored solutions
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, FCA, and FDCPA regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts effectively
- Prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining high‑quality standards
- Work with internal and external teams to support customer outcomes
- Apply collections experience within financial services
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Manage challenging customer interactions with empathy and persistence
- Deliver fair and compliant outcomes in difficult conversations
