Responsibilities
In this role you will work alongside medical and nursing colleagues, as part of the MDT to lead the provision of patient‑facing pharmaceutical care on wards and in outpatient clinics within a specialty. You will be an integral part of your specialty oncology team as well as the wider pharmacy team and will be involved in clinical trials and research within your chosen specialty. There will be opportunities to develop and lead pharmacist prescribing clinics in those specialties who do not currently have this service. You will also have the opportunity to work within the Aseptic Production Unit, quality assessing and releasing chemotherapy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic pharmacist to lead clinical pharmacy services on the chemotherapy treatment unit at the Liverpool site as part of our growing team.
Prior experience in cancer care is not required as you will be fully supported and trained by our friendly, dedicated team; you do require a thirst to learn, a passion to deliver excellent patient‑centred care and transferrable leadership experience.
The successful candidate will also receive mentoring and support to grow as a leader.
