Ward 31 planned care seeks a 1st level trained nurse to provide high-quality orthopaedic hip fracture care within a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver acute nursing care to orthopaedic hip fracture patients.
- Participate in shift rotations including days, nights and twilights.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Maintain written and oral communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1st level trained nurse.
- Interest, enthusiasm and motivation for orthopaedic nursing.
- Good team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in acute nursing desirable though not essential.
- Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
