Staff Nurse (ward 31) AA

Ward 31 planned care seeks a 1st level trained nurse to provide high-quality orthopaedic hip fracture care within a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute nursing care to orthopaedic hip fracture patients.
• Participate in shift rotations including days, nights and twilights.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Maintain written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1st level trained nurse.
• Interest, enthusiasm and motivation for orthopaedic nursing.
• Good team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in acute nursing desirable though not essential.
• Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
