Overview

This is a fixed-term (1 month) summer internship in Radiotherapy Physics to carry out a project relating to radiotherapy service development and gain experience working in a Radiotherapy Physics department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist under supervision with administration tasks related to treatment planning.
  • Assist under supervision with the quality control of radiotherapy treatment machines and other equipment.
  • Contribute to routine aspects of radiotherapy service delivery under the supervision of Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists.
  • Work on a project relating to radiotherapy service development.

Eligibility

Graduates and/or students planning to apply to the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Radiotherapy are particularly encouraged to apply.
