Field Service Engineer Industrial Emissions Systems, £40,000 – £47,000 | Leicestershire Office with UK Travel

• £40k£47k + overtime at time & a third
• 40 hours per week, no weekend working
• Field-based role approx. 7080% UK travel / time away from home
• Core focus on installation, with commissioning and service work forming a smaller part of the position.
• Industrial emissions systems (SCR) for marine & industrial applications

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a specialist engineering business in Leicestershire, working on emissions control systems. This is a hands‑on field installation role, working on industrial sites across the UK, installing complete emissions systems used on generators, engines and heavy plant.

What you’ll be doing

• Installing cable tray, unistrut and containment systems
• Running and terminating 24V DC control and instrumentation cabling
• Installing AdBlue pipework (tank to injector systems)
• Mechanical installation of SCR units, panels and tanks
• Supporting commissioning, snagging and fault finding
• Occasional workshop build and preparation work

What we’re looking for

• Background in electrical installation, mechanical fitting or field service engineering
• Experience working on industrial plant, machinery or heavy equipment
• Comfortable with hands‑on installation work and site environments
• Able to read basic engineering drawings / install packs
• Happy with regular UK travel and time away from home
