About the Position

We are recruiting a CABLE INSTALLATION ENGINEER to support project execution, ensuring technical requirements are met. The role alternates between office work in Gorinchem (preparation phase) and on-site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for the Project Manager, project team, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and implement working methods with risk analysis.
• Provide coordination and advice for technical issues.
• Supervise subcontractors and review their documentation.
• Confirm that work instructions, methods, and drawings have been issued and are controlled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Maritime Infrastructure.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the offshore wind industry.
• Experience supporting projects and managing external engineering and suppliers.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, practical, creative problem‑solver who thrives in project teams.
• Willingness to travel abroad regularly for short or long periods.
