Marine Project Manager – Offshore Wind Project, Scotland

Position overview: Lead marine operations and vessel assurance for a major offshore wind project in Scotland, ensuring safety and compliance across all marine activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the primary focus across all marine operations.
• Lead the marine and vessel assurance process for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and vessel crews.
• Provide marine input into contracts and stage gate documentation.
• Develop and implement Project Marine and Vessel Management Plans.
• Apply deep understanding of marine assurance, standards, processes, and practices to ensure best practices.
• Employ advanced knowledge of marine construction vessel types and their specialist equipment.
• Utilize expertise in marine and vessel assurance, including familiarity with IMCA and OCIMF guidelines.
• Apply experience from the offshore energy sector, covering marine operations and environmental considerations.
• Conduct incident investigations and exercise safety leadership on site.
• Hold Master Mariner qualification with command experience.
