About the Company

This established M&E contractor delivers full electrical design and build packages across a range of commercial environments throughout the UK. The business provides in‑house design support using CAD and BIM, working closely with clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

About the Role

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing commercial electrical installation projects from initial handover through to completion and final account support.

Projects will involve electrical installations within commercial environments, including lighting, power, data, fire alarms, CCTV, and associated electrical systems. The Electrical Project Manager will coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Responsibilities

  • Managing commercial electrical projects from start to finish
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Attending client and site meetings
  • Managing project programmes and reporting progress
  • Monitoring project costs alongside the commercial team
  • Ordering materials and managing procurement schedulesEnsuring health and safety standards are maintained
  • Reviewing drawings and technical specifications
  • Working alongside in‑house design teams using CAD and BIM information
  • Managing project documentation and handover information
  • Supporting commissioning and project completion activities
  • Travelling to projects nationwide as required

Qualifications

The successful Electrical Project Manager should have previous experience delivering commercial electrical projects and be confident managing multiple stages of the project lifecycle. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a practical understanding of electrical installations and site operations.
