Location: Norwich. Competitive salary.

Service Service is recruiting for a Bids & Proposals Engineer on behalf of a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation involved in delivering complex technical projects within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage RFIs and RFQs from initial enquiry through to submission
• Work closely with sales, engineering, commercial, and operations teams to gather technical and commercial information
• Develop detailed and compliant bid documentation, pricing models, and technical responses
• Coordinate bid review meetings and support bid/no‑bid decision processes
• Maintain CRM systems and support proposal tracking activities
• Participate in customer discussions and negotiations where required
• Ensure proposals comply with company standards, procedures, and ISO requirements

About You

• Previous experience within bids, proposals, estimations, or commercial project support
• Understanding of Bills of Materials (BoMs) and technical documentation
• Experience managing proposals, tenders, or PQQs
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident working across multiple departments and managing deadlines
• Experience using CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office systems
• Engineering or technical background advantageous
