We are looking to recruit a Sales Membership Consultant to join our club teams, to provide an elite service to all our club members and any visiting prospects. As a Sales Membership Consultant you, along with your team, are responsible for meeting monthly membership goals for sales and growth, focusing on data and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact for members, elevating their experience at every touchpoint. Address member inquiries and uphold meticulous standards of administration and support.
- Create a presence and a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the club, acting as Front of House from providing new member visits.
- Take ownership of your membership targets, striving for excellence in sales, retention, and growth each month.
- Ensure that all activity targets are met to achieve our desired net growth.
- Tailor membership offerings to meet individual needs and expand corporate memberships to prospects within the immediate locality of the club.
- Provide advice on all activities related to Exercise Experience and products offered by Virgin Active.
- Support the smooth operation of your club and consistently provide exceptional customer service to all.
- Take on the responsibilities of Duty Shift as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the needs of the business, leading by example in all aspects of club management.
- Previous experience of working in a customer‑centric, target‑driven role (desirable but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal skills that make you approachable to members, prospects, and colleagues alike.
- Good communication skills.
