Interim / Permanent Disputes Lawyer (5–8 PQE) – London

We are working with a leading global technology / social media platform that is looking to hire an experienced disputes lawyer to join its legal team on an interim basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent transition.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-profile environment, supporting a broad and dynamic litigation docket across the UK and Europe.

The Role

You will work closely with senior members of the legal team, managing a varied caseload of contentious matters, including commercial disputes, regulatory issues, and platform-related litigation. The work is intellectually challenging and often high stakes, requiring sound judgment and the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting a portfolio of UK and EU litigation and disputes
• Coordinating with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
• Advising internal stakeholders on risk, strategy, and dispute resolution
• Supporting on regulatory and contentious issues impacting a large-scale digital platformCollaborating cross-functionally with business and operational teams

  Candidate Profile

  • UK-qualified lawyer with 5–8 years’ PQE
  • Strong background in commercial litigation / disputes from a leading law firm or in-house team
  • Excellent technical legal skills and strategic thinking
  • Experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Prior technology or social media sector experience helpful but not essential for this role.
