SEND Case Officer

SEN Case Officer – Brent Council

Full‑time position with a fixed term of 6 months. Minimum of 2 days onsite per week (Wednesday and one other day) in a hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Complete new assessments and manage caseload of existing assessments.
• Work multi‑professionally with Speech & Language therapists, Educational Psychologists, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a SEN officer, preferably recent work with secondary and post‑16 age young people.
• Secure working knowledge of current SEND legislation and awareness of the emerging work associated with the White Paper on SEND.
