Events Sales Executive, West Midlands | Live Events & Sports Venues

Are you a hospitality or events sales professional with a passion for sport and live events? We’re recruiting an Events Sales Executive to join a premium venue in the West Midlands – working at the heart of an exciting sports and entertainment setting where no two days are the same.

The role

You’ll be the first point of contact for inbound conference and event enquiries, converting leads into confirmed bookings across a diverse portfolio – from corporate meetings and training days to gala dinners, awards evenings, and matchday hospitality.

What you’ll do

  • Handle enquiries across phone, email and online channels and convert them into bookings
  • Build tailored event proposals for corporate clients, training providers, and entertainment organisers
  • Manage client relationships from enquiry through to post-event follow‑up
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records using CRM and booking systems
  • Develop strong product knowledge and stay aware of market trends

What we’re looking for

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a conference, events or hospitality sales role
  • Venue‑level hospitality background – experience in live events or sports is a strong advantage
  • A confident, proactive communicator who enjoys building relationships and closing bookings
  • Organised and comfortable with CRM/booking systems
  • Flexibility to work event days alongside core office hours

The detail

Permanent, full‑time (37.5 hrs/week).

Competitive salary c.£30‑35k depending on experience, plus a strong benefits package.
