Examinations Officer
37 hours per week Term Time Only plus 10 additional days and 5 TEDs

Permanent, 37 hours per week (worked over 5 days)
8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday, with a half hour lunch break

The main purpose of the role is to support the Timetable and Examinations Manager by being responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of external examinationsin accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies.
You must be reliable, organised, work accurately and be an excellent communicator with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bromcom or other similar management information systems. Ideally, we are looking for someone with relevant experience although training may be provided.
The additional 10 days will be worked in August around the A level and GCSE results days. In the past, results days have usually been in the second week in August for A-levels and the third week in August for GCSEs. Please do not apply if you are unable to work during these two weeks.
The salary is paid at Grade SC5, points 12 – 17 (£28,598 – £31,022 full time equivalent). The actual term time only starting salary will be £26,216 pa, which may rise by increments to £28,438 pa. Pay award pending.
