Finance Business Partner (Capital / IFRS 16)

Your new company A complex government organisation is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for a temp role for 6 months, starting in July. This is a high profile role working with a team based in Canary Whaf. Your new role Work with strategic finance and financial accounting teams to: Lead capital budgeting and forecasting Advise on IFRS 16, fixed assets and leases Provide finance business partnering across multiple business areas. Review business cases and expenditure proposals What you’ll need to succeed Essential: Full accountancy qualification – CCAB, CIMA or equivalent Demonstrable experience at Senior Finance Business Partner level, leading on capital budgets Expertise in capital accounting, IFRS 16 and fixed assets Excellent communication skills in order to present to senior stakeholders Advanced Excel skills Desirable: It would be beneficial to have experience from either the public sector or digital, technology or property expenditure.
