Responsibilities

  • Ownership of customer relationships, developing and executing joint business plans that drive profitable growth.
  • Negotiating terms, pricing, and promotions, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining a customer‑first approach.
  • Leading strategic initiatives, including new product development (NPD), pricing strategies, and category expansion.
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with Marketing, Category, Finance, and Operations to drive long‑term business success.
  • Developing and implementing growth plans, ensuring our brands and own‑label products continue to thrive in competitive markets.
  • Coaching and supporting the team, helping to shape the future of our commercial talent.
  • Playing a key role in forecasting, ensuring strong commercial decision‑making and accuracy in planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within Grocery Multiples.
  • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L accountability.
  • A strategic thinker who can balance long‑term vision with day‑to‑day execution.
  • Experience negotiating and securing new business while driving sustainable growth.
  • Excellent internal stakeholder management, working seamlessly with Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
  • Ability to influence and engage both internally and externally to shape commercial strategy.
  • Mobility is essential, as regular customer and site visits will be key to success in this role.
