Job Description:

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Solutions Architect for a long contract based in Luton, England, United Kingdom.

Experience Requirements

  • Solution Architecture or Architecture Leadership role
  • Proven experience delivering architecture for large-scale transformation programs, operational platforms, or mission-critical solutions
  • Experience working in Agile, product-led, or mission-oriented organizations

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide architecture leadership for product mission teams and define mission-level solution architecture
  • Create and communicate a clear architecture vision aligned with business objectives and mission outcomes
  • Shape end-to-end solutions across multiple product teams, platforms, and technology domains
  • Establish architecture principles, solution guardrails, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns
  • Collaborate with Product Leads, Tech Leads, and Delivery Leads to ensure cohesive solution design and execution
  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture strategies, standards, and long-term technology roadmaps
  • Identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies, integration challenges, and architectural risks early
  • Design shared components, cross-team integrations, and data flows while ensuring scalability and consistency
  • Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and risks effectively to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach engineering teams on architectural thinking, design approaches, and best practices

Mandatory Skills

  • Solution Architecture leadership experience in large transformation programs
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions across multiple teams and domains
  • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
  • Experience with API-driven and Event-Driven architectures
  • Knowledge of Canonical Data Models and enterprise integration patterns
  • Ability to balance business, technical, cost, and delivery considerations
  • Experience influencing technical and business stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and architecture governance capabilities
