Solicitor – Banking & Finance
We are looking to hire a Banking & Finance Solicitor (1–2 PQE) to join a Top 100 firm in their City of London office.
In this role you will work alongside experienced banking solicitors on a broad range of transactions for lenders, borrowers, investors and corporate clients.
The Role
You will support partners and senior lawyers on a variety of banking and finance matters, including:
- Drafting and reviewing finance documents
- Managing conditions precedent and transaction processes
- Conducting legal research and due diligence
- Liaising with clients and other professional advisers
- Supporting transaction management through to completion
- Assisting with business development and client relationship activities
Requirements
You will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with:
- 1–2 years’ PQE in banking and finance
- Strong academics and technical ability
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- A commercial and proactive approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience in real estate finance, development finance, health and social care lending or cross-border transactions would be desired but is not essential.
