The Work
Our current work is typically focused on applying our deep sector & strategy knowledge to various types of projects, including:
- Strategy development and assessment
- Market entry strategy and opportunity sizing
- Product and business unit strategy development
- Divestment options analysis
You’ll work with a high‑performing, integrated team which focuses on a variety of global and local corporate clients and private equity clients. You’ll have a diverse range of stretching experiences which will give you continuous learning and development opportunities as well as a great sense of achievement.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical leadership role in all of the firm’s work. EY-Parthenon has a very flat structure which will allow you to become actively involved in many levels of client work. You will often be the primary contact for clients, responsible for developing and executing work plans, and managing associates. Given the demands of such an accelerated role, your skills as a consultant are highly tuned in the areas of analytics, communications, teamwork, and leadership.
Internally, you will have leadership responsibilities in areas like recruiting, training, professional development, etc. You will also typically be involved in key strategic initiatives such as the establishment of new practice areas and the generation of proprietary intellectual capital.
You Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform primary and secondary research including data gathering, interviews, and surveys.
- Plan and develop analytics, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Develop ‘the story’ – the output to narrate the solution to the client’s problem – including written output (slides).
- Manage relationships with client stakeholders.
- Foster an inclusive culture throughout the team and within engagements.
- Develop a community within the team – volunteering to support initiatives such as Learning, Operations, Resourcing, Recruitment, etc.
- Counsel Associate Consultants to provide career direction and guidance.

To qualify for the role, you must:
- Be educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent; a Masters/MBA/PhD qualification is helpful.
- Have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a strategy consulting, transaction advisory or corporate finance role.
- Have both quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Be clear and concise in your communication skills, and be able to engage effectively with both clients and team members.
- Possess a desire and ability to solve complex and open‑ended client problems.
