Senior Consultant – Digital Strategist

As a Digital Strategist you will operate at the intersection of strategy, product, data and technology, translating complex insight into clear, actionable direction. You will help senior clients (up to C‑level) identify, prioritise and realise value from digital and AI investments, and shape end‑to‑end propositions from insight to business case to implementation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute independently at a high level on client engagements, owning important workstreams within projects.
  • Contribute actively to the team outside of client work, sharing skills and perspectives, supporting business development efforts, and assisting leaders with team management and internal initiatives.
  • Bring prior experience in relevant roles such as strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy or innovation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, able to move beyond theory to deliver practical, implementable recommendations.
  • Highly numerate with experience owning detailed assumptive models that quantify value for clients.
  • Ability to craft and present compelling business cases and narratives, using words and numbers with precision.
  • Competence across a range of research methods (qualitative and quantitative customer research, market & competitor analysis, stakeholder interviews, SWOT & PESTLE).
  • Experience translating research into forward‑looking customer propositions, product strategies, and business models.
  • Practical understanding of how AI and emerging technologies translate into real business value, and experience applying them in strategy, product or transformation contexts.
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, across email, calls, meetings and workshops.
  • Pragmatic problem‑solving focus, collaborative team player, excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, growth mindset and curiosity.

  • Energy & Utilities sector experience.
  • Experience applying strategy in regulated industries.
