Our client is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor (6-8 Years PQE) to join their growing and highly regarded Property Litigation team. As a member of a collaborative team, you will handle a broad range of contentious commercial and residential property matters, helping clients navigate complex disputes with clarity, confidence, and commercially focused advice.

Position Overview

The successful Property Litigation Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of contentious property matters from inception through to resolution, acting for a diverse client base across both commercial and residential property disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-value matters while playing an active role in business development and the continued success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a broad caseload of contentious property matters
  • Advising clients on commercial and residential property disputes
  • Handling disputes relating to land and property ownership, landlord and tenant matters, and commercial property disputes
  • Managing cases from pre‑action stage through to trial
  • Conducting negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions
  • Representing clients at court hearings and trials where required
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
  • Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities

Requirements

  • Ideally 6-8 years’ PQE in Property Litigation
  • Strong technical expertise in contentious commercial and residential property matters
  • Proven ability to manage files independently and take ownership of matters
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and practical problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to business development
