ing.What You’ll Be
DoingThis is a dual-mandate role: you will be responsible for both developing new broker relationships and managing the existing book in Scotland. Day to day that
- means:Building new relationships with commercial insurance brokers across Scotland, including both national groups and independent
- brokersUnderwriting commercial P&C risks within your delegated authority, covering the SME and mid-market
- segmentManaging existing broker accounts, ensuring strong service levels and retention of the current po
- rtfolioIdentifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the Scottish broker
- marketWorking collaboratively with the wider regional and national underwriti
- ng teamRepresenting the business in the market with professionalism and technical cred
ibilityThe split of your time will be weighted towards new business development, with the expectation that you are proactive, visible and well-connected in the Scottish commercial broking
