Are you an NQ Private Client Solicitor looking for a role that offers genuine autonomy, progression, and the opportunity to help shape a growing department?
A long-established and highly respected North West law firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor to join its busy Wills & Probate team based.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or experienced CILEX Lawyer with a strong background in Private Client work who is looking to take on a broader role, including team supervision, client relationship management, and business development.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a well-established department with a strong flow of existing work and a loyal client base, handling a varied caseload of Private Client matters while supporting and developing junior members of the team.
The firm is keen to speak with ambitious individuals who are looking to build their profile locally, develop client relationships, and play a key role in the continued growth of the office.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising clients on:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Court of Protection matters
- Testamentary Trusts
- Drafting legal documentation and applications
- Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
- Maintaining high standards of client care and technical excellence
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Contributing to the ongoing growth of the department and office
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive status
- Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and LPAs
- Experience dealing with Estate Administration matters
- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
- Previous supervisory or mentoring experience would be advantageous
- STEP qualification or working towards STEP would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational and case management abilities
- A proactive and ambitious approach to your career
Due to client visits and occasional travel between offices, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
