Accounts & Tax Associate

A well-established and growing boutique accountancy practice in North London is looking for an Accounts & Tax Associate to join their friendly and collaborative team.

• Accounts & Tax (Corporate & Personal)
• Portfolio of circa 50 clients
• ACA / ACCA qualified

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice professional seeking greater client exposure and responsibility within a firm that values long-term relationships and high-quality service.

You will manage a portfolio of approximately 50 clients, working closely with owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and private individuals across a variety of sectors.

Your responsibilities will include –

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Managing client queries and acting as a key point of contact.
• Assisting clients with bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts.
• Supporting senior management with advisory projects and tax planning assignments.
• Building strong client relationships and providing proactive advice.

You will have –

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance experience.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Organised, proactive, and keen to develop your career within a growing firm.
