Domestic Assistant

Randolph Hill are searching for a Domestic Assistant for our exceptional Muirfield Nursing Home in Gullane. This post will have working hours of either 0800 – 1430 or 0800 – 1600. Rota’s are completed a number of weeks in advance with alternate weekends on and off.

dMain Duties and Responsibiliti

• esTo follow housekeeping instructions as laid down by the company and as directed by the Manager/Nurse in char
• geTo uphold residents’ rights to privacy, dignity and choi
• ceTo operate tools and equipment in a safe, correct manner and display warning signs as appropria
• teTo report any damage to equipment, furnishings or fabric of the building as soon as possible to immediate superi
• orTo become familiar with and use appropriate chemicals in correct strengths as instructed in the manual and to be economical in u
• seTo keep furniture and carpets clean and free of odou
• rsTo maintain high standards of cleanliness to reflect the image of the compa
• nyTo dispose of waste materials and rubbish as instruct
• edTo report any discrepancies in stock control and inform the Manager immediate
• lyTo report any injuries, disease or dangerous occurrences to the appropriate staff memb
• erTo wear company uniform at all times when on du
• tyTo wear and use protective clothing and equipment as directed and report any damage to superio
• rsTo comply with all safe working policies and procedur
• esTo attend training and staff meetings as requested by the manag
