EC&I Designer

Supporting Project E&I design team delivering and checking design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.

Essential:

• Academic Qualification: HNC
• Professional Qualification: Incorporated Engineer

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as an Electrical Design Engineer on multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following: Electrical Supply Infrastructure, Small power, lighting and earthing.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines.
• Providing support to Construction.
• Providing support to Commissioning.
• Willingness to support early career engineers.

Desirable:

• Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as an E&I Design Engineer on multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover.
• Working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works:
• Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing.
• Radiometric & Special Instruments.
• Safety Systems.
