An excellent opportunity awaits an ambitious Senior Lawyer to join a US firm in their Employment team. The firm is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior employment lawyer who is looking for a high-quality practice and significant autonomy.
The successful candidate will act as the sole employment lawyer in the London office and will work closely with colleagues across the firm, including the corporate, transactional and litigation teams. The role is particularly suited to someone who is comfortable operating independently and advising on a broad range of employment law matters.
The firm is looking for an employment lawyer with experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law. The London litigation team regularly handles matters involving employment law issues, and there is a clear need for someone who can support on both advisory/transactional work and employment-related disputes.
The role will include advising clients on employment aspects of corporate transactions, day-to-day employment advisory matters and contentious employment disputes. The successful candidate will be expected to manage matters with a high degree of independence, while also collaborating with lawyers across different practice areas.
Experience required:
- Qualified in England & Wales
- At least 7 years’ PQE at a leading employment practice.
- Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
- Ability to provide clear, practical advice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
