Pearse Recruitment is growing fast. As we expand our team and enter new markets, we’re investing in the infrastructure that makes long-term success possible. That means bringing in a talented Learning & Development Consultant who will help us get new hires up to speed faster and support consultants at every stage of their careers.

The Role

You’ll work closely with our leadership team to design, deliver, and continuously improve our L&D programmes across the business. Your core focus areas will include:

  • Designing and running structured training programmes to get new starters billing as quickly as possible
  • Developing on our current learning framework that supports consultants from day one through to senior and leadership levels
  • Coaching and upskilling consultants on sales technique, candidate management, client development, and business development etc.
  • Creating engaging training materials – delivering workshops, e-learning modules, playbooks, and resources that are all tailored to a recruitment environment
  • Identifying skills gaps across teams and building targeted development plans in response
  • Partnering with managers to embed a coaching culture throughout the business
  • Tracking and reporting on L&D outcomes and their impact on performance metrics
  • Supporting the rollout of new tools, systems, and processes through structured training initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in an L&D role, ideally within a recruitment, sales, or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of how recruitment businesses operate – The pressures, the pace, and what excellent looks like
  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes that genuinely accelerate consultant productivity
  • Confident facilitator with the ability to engage and motivate consultants at all levels
  • Data-led approach to L&D – you measure what matters and adjust accordingly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly across teams
  • Self-starter mentality with the initiative to build something new, not just maintain the status quo
  • Coaching qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
