Role: Senior Project Manager

Rate: Circa £450+ per day (Outside IR35)

Contract Type: Interim Contract, full time

Contract Length: Initial contract to end of 2028 with likely extension

Working Arrangements: 3 days per week in the office with site visits as required

Senior Project Manager – Overview

  • An exciting long term opportunity to join a leading social housing provider delivering a significant programme of internal fire remediation works across a large residential portfolio.
  • This role will play a key part in the delivery of multiple schemes, working within an established team to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme across a pipeline extending beyond 2028.

Senior Project Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Lead post contract delivery of internal fire remediation works across multiple residential schemes.
  • Oversee passive fire protection works including fire doors, fire stopping, risers, and internal compartmentation.
  • Act as Contract Administrator under JCT contracts, managing instructions, variations, and contractual processes.
  • Monitor contractor performance, site progress, and programme delivery across live projects.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and maintain robust project controls.
  • Manage practical completion, handover, and close out documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Support delivery across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across all schemes.
  • Maintain strong engagement with stakeholders including delivery teams and regulatory bodies.

Senior Project Manager – Applicant Essentials

Essential

  • Proven senior level project management experience within construction or property
  • Strong understanding of fire remediation and passive fire protection works
  • Demonstrable experience acting as Contract Administrator under JCT contracts
  • Experience delivering projects through construction stage to completion and handover
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex project packages
  • Strong stakeholder management, reporting, and communication skills

Desirable

  • Experience working on higher risk residential buildings
  • Background within a social housing provider or residential development environment
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent schemes across different locations
