Role Overview
Senior Healthcare Support Worker (SHCSW) in the renal unit supporting outpatient clinics at the South Devon Satellite Kidney Unit (SDSKU) and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and relatives upon arrival.
- Perform venepuncture and take observations, weights, and urinalysis.
- Manage a blood clinic for other renal specialties.
- Provide support across a range of dynamic settings within the renal unit.
Shift Pattern
Work a range of shift patterns including short day shifts (8 am‑8 pm) and 12.5‑hour day and night shifts with an hour break. Shift pattern may influence pay and eligibility for enhancements.
