Job Summary
As a Night Senior Carer at Barchester care home, you will look after the diverse needs of residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. Your role involves supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans and care reviews. You will respect residents’ dignity and preferences and contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of Care Assistants.
- Supervise care delivery and ensure person‑centred support for all residents.
- Assist the clinical team with medication administration, assessments and care plans.
- Maintain a respectful and warm environment that honours residents’ dignity.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, with opportunities to progress to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
- Warm‑hearted, compassionate approach with a commitment to individualized care.
Salary & Benefits
£17.37 per hour (permanent, full‑time or part‑time).
