TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to lead and develop SEND provision within a supportive school environment, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
- Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
- Coordinate support for pupils with a range of additional needs
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies
- Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place
- Maintain EHCPs and ensure compliance with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice
- Provide guidance, support and training to staff
- Promote an inclusive culture throughout the school
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or relevant SENCO experience
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needsli>
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusion
