Overview

Our apprenticeship is geared toward training the next generation of fully‑fledged Service Technicians/Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair light vehicles such as cars up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Carry out checks and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Repair and replace faulty parts and components.
• Advise the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
• Produce time estimates.
• Maintain repair and service records.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 9 – 4 (A – C) or equivalent in English, Maths and two other subjects.
• In Scotland, Scottish National 5 Grades A – C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
• Equivalent grades include BTEC first diplomas and certificates, OCR Nationals.
