Job Purpose
The job purpose is: To provide electrical services to meet the needs of the board healthcare facilities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patient care through the delivery of a planned maintenance, repair and installations service that always represents quality and value for money.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe maintenance service to all plant, equipment and service infrastructure within the board’s hospitals and premises, ensuring delivery of all works to relevant legislation standards incorporating STHM 06 01 Parts A & B, 06‑01 & 06‑03.
- Assist in the development of the estates function into a customer-focused range of services, leading a flexible, integrated approach to the delivery of estates services.
Qualifications
- Must hold a PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult).
- If the post is assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check than is currently the case.
