About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Press Operator to join our team in Harrogate and run our HP Indigo printing press. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of the full printing process – from preparing materials through to delivering high‑quality prints ready for finishing. If you’re detail‑oriented, technically minded, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced production environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Working Hours
Initially: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Flexibility required: This role may transition to 3 days per week, 12‑hour shifts as business needs evolve. We’re looking for someone adaptable and open to changing shift patterns.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and check raw materials, ensuring they meet required specifications
- Operate the HP Indigo digital press to produce high‑quality prints
- Complete documentation for production tracking and quality control
- Carry out process checks and collaborate with Quality Control for approvals
- Follow production plans and meet deadlines set by the Planning Manager
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Escalate technical issues to the Digital Technician when needed
- Hand over completed work for post‑press finishing
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Ideally 0–2 years’ experience in printing or manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- A proactive, flexible approach in a fast‑moving environment
- Technical mindset with willingness to support other departments
- Experience with HP Indigo machines is a plus (but not essential)
