Semi Skilled Joiner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semi Skilled Joiner to join a market‑leading manufacturer in Wakefield. The company’s location, just a few miles from the M1 and M62 motorways, makes it easily accessible from areas like Leeds, Bradford, Castleford, Huddersfield, and Dewsbury.

Key Responsibilities

• Fitting windows made from a variety of different materials.
• Fitting and cutting out vents.
• Carrying out installation and boarding works.
• Using a variety of different hand and power tools.
• Reading measurements.
• Reading and understanding technical drawings.

Experience Required

• Comfortable carrying out manual heavy lifting.
• Experience working within a manufacturing background.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Comfortable reading and taking measurements.
• Basic understanding of reading technical drawings.

Working Hours

Monday‑Thursday 07:30‑16:30.Friday 07:30‑12:30.

• £14.50 per hour.
• Permanent opportunity.
• Early finish on a Friday.
• Overtime paid at a premium.
• 28 days holiday (increasing to 32 with length in service).
