  • Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate

Experience

2 to less than 3 years of experience; work must be completed on site only, no remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products to determine repair requirements
  • Install electronic equipment
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specialized tools
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
  • Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
  • Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
  • Calibrate products using hand tools
  • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
  • Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Provide customer service
