Advanced Social Worker – Disabled Children

Location: Barnstaple, North Devon – Flexible part‑time role: 18.5 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday).

The Role

• Lead and support a team alongside the Team Manager
• Work with children and families with complex needs
• Mentor, coach, and develop colleagues
• Drive high‑quality, evidence‑based practice

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years PQE
• Social Work England registration
• Experience at Advanced/Senior level
• Strong multi‑agency working experience
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car

The Offer

• Up to £42 per hour (DOE)
• £150 weekly accommodation/commuter support (terms and conditions apply)
• Hybrid working – 1 to 2 office days required
• Set working pattern: Wednesday (½ day), Thursday and Friday
