An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team at Ach-anEasCare Home in Inverness as a Social Care Assistant. Here at Ach-an-Eas, we put the patient at the heart of everything we do and each colleague within our Care home plays a key role in how we support our residents.
The Social Care Assistant works as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of care to our residents. The successful candidate will provide personal care for residents as well as supporting them with all activities of daily living.
SVQ 2 is desirable, but training is given and opportunities to progress within the team are encouraged. Staff must be flexible, adaptable, and work to support other staff who have responsibility to residents.
Shifts are on a rotational basis, hours to be discussed. Enhancements are paid for weekend and out of hours work.

Additional Information for Candidates
- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
