We are looking to recruit a full time Assistant Practice Manager- Monday-Friday- to join our large friendly team in modern premises situated in modern premises.
The practice team consists of 2 GP partners, 8 salaried GP’s, Practice Nurse, Outreach Nurse, Nursing Associate, Health Care Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist, Social Prescriber. Our non clinical team consists of Practice Manager, Team Leader, receptionists (7) Administrators(2) and Care Co-Ordinator’s (3)
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- The overall line management of our reception & administration team and Team Leader.
- The overall day to day running of reception and clinics
- Management of Clinical Rota.
- Dealing with & responding to verbal complaints.
- Management of the IT systems in house and associated duties.

Person Specification
Experience
- Experience of managing or supervising a small team
- Experience of working in Primary Care setting
- Excellent verbal and non verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Working knowledge of EMIS Clinical System
- Working knowledge of Accurx online consultations
