Hours and Pay
Pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6 am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
Responsibilities
- Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in‑store
- Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go‑to person for day‑to‑day operational queries
- Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best
- Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence
- Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change
- Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role‑modeling great service
- Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day
Qualifications
- Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Be a strong role‑model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met
- Build positive, long‒lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment
- A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed
- A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results
- A minimum age of 18 years
