Overview
Maintenance Assistant, Hotel du Vin, You always have the right tool for the job….! Taking responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team, as Maintenance Assistant you are there to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently to ensure that the guest expectations are met during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Proactively complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things!
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently to meet guest expectations.
- Work to deadlines, liaise confidently with contractors, and take responsibility for health and safety.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required.
- Knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial.
- Organised, a good communicator, with excellent attention to detail.

Compensation and Work Details
Rate of Pay / Hours – £13.10 / 40 hours per week. Type of Contract – Full Time. Location – Newcastle.
