SHE Lead Advisor – Nightshift (Monday Night – Thursday Night)

Rate per hour: £34.53 + nightshift uplift per hour (inside IR35/umbrella).

The Role

• The role will support the development and/or deployment of the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policy, systems and objectives for the Naval Ships business.
• The role will be responsible for providing competent SHE advice, systems and assurance to line leaders/manager, enabling them to successfully manage SHE and to achieve company strategic goals.
• The role is part of a cross‑discipline team of SHE professionals working across the Naval Ships sites to deliver specified packages of work/improvement projects.

The Role Holder

• A minimum of five years post‑qualification experience in applying health and safety knowledge and processes in work‑related situations.
• One or more of the following QCF/NQF Level 5 (or higher) qualifications: NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; Level 5 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health Practice; Level 6 NCRQ Diploma in Applied Health and Safety; Safety, Health Honours Degree (Bachelor’s or Higher). • Chartered membership of an appropriate professional health and safety institution is desirable.
