Intensive Support Worker (Family Help) | 10555 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £32,061 to £33,699 per annum | Grade G | West Norfolk & Breckland

Are you passionate about providing children and their families with the guidance and support they need to live within the community and thrive within the family home?

As an Intensive Support Worker, you will undertake targeted, evidence-based and timely/time-limited interventions with families, working alongside Social Workers and Family Practitioners to promote safety and well‑being and prevent escalation of need. You will need to be able to work with parents/carers/children and their networks to build positive working relationships to promote engagement and positive change.

You will be required to role model and support with advice and guidance around parenting and behaviour and work with other professionals as needed in order to create positive outcomes for families. As well as working with Parents/Carers you will also work with young people individually to enable the personal, social and educational growth, social inclusion, reduction in anti‑social behaviour and improve access to services.
