Job Title & Hours

Plant Operative / Waste Processing Operative

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (45 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy plant and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance and report faults.
• Carry out waste sorting, segregation, and processing.
• Follow Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
• Complete basic records, checklists, and report issues to management.

Essential Requirements

• Experience operating plant or machinery.
• Ability to carry out manual/physical work.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable with strong attendance.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.

Desirable Requirements

• CSR Card or Health & Safety qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience with agricultural machinery.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
