Job Title
Consequences Coordinator
Salary: £21,956-£22,304 (Grade 3)
Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday, Term Time only plus 5 days.
Responsibilities
The role is to coordinate support provision for students requiring behavioural intervention, primarily through managing the Consequences Room and working under senior staff direction.
Key duties include:
- Timely contact with parents to communicate behaviour, consequences or exclusions.
- Arranging, organising and supervising appropriate work or skills development with individual students.
- Coordinating with parents, external agencies, education welfare, and the police regarding confidential and complex issues.
- Maintaining the Consequences Room environment and meticulously recording all C4 and C5 behaviour incidents onto the MIS system.
Qualifications
We require an individual with a willingness and ability to enhance qualifications and training in the post.
Essential skills:
- Effective communication with a wide range of audiences and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office.
- Capacity to relate sympathetically to students and recognise potential child safeguarding issues.
- Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
