Role: Care & Support Assistant

Location: Buxton House Residential Home, Weymouth (DT4 0QE)

Pay: £13.05 – £13.30 per hour

Hours: Full Time, Part Time & Bank

Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 20:00 (including alternate weekends)

You will receive a comprehensive induction and training programme, so you’ll be fully supported every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility and transfer assistance.
• Provide encouragement to promote independence and active participation.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with each resident.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑quality care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No visa sponsorship is offered.
• Previous customer service or community support experience is an asset, but not required.
• Show empathy, kindness and a commitment to caring for others.
