Location: Stowmarket, IP14 5AP

Salary: £34,608 per annum + excellent benefits

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3pm, with occasional Saturday work & Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

As an HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Suffolk team, you will:

  • Set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
  • Be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
  • Ensure vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work-ready before setting out on your rounds.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Class C driving licence (C1 & Driver CPC accepted).
  • Hard working and a team player.
  • Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the business.
  • Hold plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile.
  • Willing to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds to enable the team to hit their targets.
