Forklift Driver – Order Picker at Heights

Location: Rugby – Permanent contract from day 1. Shift pattern: 5 out of 6 (excluding Sunday). Hourly rates: £13.60 p/h – AM Shift (06:00 – 14:00); £14.60 p/h – PM Shift (14:00 – 22:00).

We are recruiting for a brand‑new warehouse site in Rugby. Join from day one and build a long‑term career within a growing operation. Full training is provided. All candidates will need to complete a DBS check and a drug and alcohol test.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately while operating at heights up to 14 m.
• Work from a standing position in very narrow aisles (VNA environment).
• Perform general manual handling and warehouse duties.
• Follow all site safety procedures, including rope escape awareness (covered at induction).
• Support team operations and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements

• No forklift licence required – full training will be provided.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at height and using rope escape equipment in emergencies.
• HLOP experience highly desirable (VNA experience also considered).
• Physically fit and able to work in a standing, manual role.
• Flexible to work a 5 out of 6 shift pattern (Sunday always off; every other Saturday required).
• Own transport essential due to limited public transport options.
