Class 2 Driver – Multi-Drop Deliveries
Location: Colchester. Pay: £17.50 per hour. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start. Minimum 9 hours guaranteed per shift.
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 Drivers to join a busy and growing transport operation based in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent weekday work, competitive pay, and guaranteed hours.
The Role
As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries efficiently and safely across designated routes. You will represent the company in a professional manner while ensuring excellent customer service at each delivery point.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Loading and unloading deliveries where required
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery records are completed accurately
- Maintaining high standards of road safety and compliance
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous multi-drop driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
